GAU 017-01B-01 detects Complement component C3a/C3a (desArg) in human samples.
GAU 017-01B-01 has been successfully used in ELISA procedures.
This antibody detects an epitope that is present on human C3, C3a, and C3a (desArg), but does not cross react with C4a or C5a.
NOTE: Concentration is lot-dependent and can vary from 0.85-1.15 mg/mL
Complement component C3 plays a central role in the activation of complement system. Its activation is required for both classical and alternative complement activation pathways. People with C3 deficiency are susceptible to bacterial infection.
